Historical
Rosters
of
the Justice Machine
*****************************************************
The 'Lionheart' Justice Machine
(circa 1929)
Batterstar (Tyvain Sithlam) - Olympic level gymnastics, mastery
of virtually every form of martial arts, extremely long
lifespan during which she has spent multiple lifetimes studying
(and mastering) every known school of martial arts on several
different planets. Afflicted with berserkergangr. Joined the JM
in 1919. Prior to 1909 she was Councilor 10 on Georwell's ruling
Council of 10. She became the leader in 1929.
Lionheart - Nobody is quite sure if Lionheart is a human, alien or
mutant. Can fly, invulnerable, super strong, can emit force
blasts, super reflexes. Powers are diminishing with age. In 1929,
Research Central began experimenting on him to see if they could figure
out how to restore his powers - and after the experiments began, his
mental facilities began to deteriorate.
Kal Youngstar - Remanence - has poorly defined electromagnetic powers.
Espranze ?? - Spectrum - has poorly defined light powers, including the
ability to create illusions.
Lou Hofgul - Collapsar - a physicist who has the power to collapse
matter. He can shrink himself, and shrink things he touches. Things
that he shrinks remain shrunken until he consciously restores them. He
can produce some interesting effects with his powers. If he expands a
large object inside a smaller container, it can produce a tremendous
explosion. Lou can also produce extreme cold by rapidly expanding a
shrunken coolant. Collapsar can fly when he is collapsed to a small
form. He collapses air in front of him, which ionizes it, uses an
electomagnetic field to pull the collapsed air into a chamber on his
back, where he let it expand, producing a rocket effect. Lou and
SpiderMonk - a lab spider monkey which was implanted with the
original device known as 'The Energizer', developed by Research
Central. The Energizer can convert ambient energy (such as
energy beams, lasers, electric bolts such as lightning,
fireballs, etc - virtually any kind of energy weapon attacks -
into biological energy that the monkey used as strength.
The Energizer made SpiderMonk virtually invulnerable to
damage. (unfortunately, the original Energizer killed
humans who were implanted and it was pronounced a failure by
Research Central).

The Justice Machine post Lionheart,
pre-First Nahman War (approximately 1939 to 1954)
Light-Wave (Unknown) - Able to fly, project light beams, move
very fast, survive in space.
The Flame (Masha Fynn) - Able to release Flame from her body,
throw flame and fireballs, and fly. Immune to flame and
heat. Able to melt bullets and projectiles comingtowards
her.
Giant (Sanra Huley) - Able to grow to great heights (up to 25'),
has enhanced strength as she grows. She is not from Georwell, but one
of the other human colonized planets in the Imperium.
Descry (Unknown) - Able to see a short time into the future,
normally around a minute, just enough to alert Light-Wave of
impending attacks, ambushes, etc. When she concentrates on
a specific small area (perhaps 30' in radius) she can see several
minutes into the future. What she sees is probable future
events, not certainty - by taking action based on what she sees,
she and others can alter the actual future. She is a rude,
egotistical, arrogant woman.
Feral (Unknown) - an alien from a species that evolved from
animals similar to wolves. He has claws, enhanced strength,
highly enhanced durability, resistance to injury, and incredible
ability to recover from injury. Combined with his natural
ferocity, Feral is perhaps the most formidable fighter in the
Georwell Imperium now that Lionheart has retired.
Challenger (Ylvy Obanon) - Olympic level gymnastics, mastery of
virtually every form of martial arts, extremely long lifespan
during which she has spent multiple lifetimes studying (and
mastering) every known school of martial arts on several
different planets. Afflicted with berserkergangr. She
hides her longevity, and faked Batterstar's death after 20 years
in the JM. Challenger disappeared during the First Nahman War on
Kurnnegut.
The Haunt (Unknown) - Hide in shadows, travel in shadows,
dematerialize for short periods
No Code Name (Jaiime Conrad) - Olympic-level gymnast,
superb hand-to-hand fighter and marksman.

The Justice Machine in the Rim Wars
(approximately 1954 to 1965)
Light-Wave (Unknown) - Able to fly, project light beams,
move very fast, survive in space. He was lost in space
during the Rim Wars, then returned after the end of the Wars and
retired.
The Flame (Masha Fynn) - Able to release Flame from her body,
throw flame and fireballs, and fly. Immune to flame and
heat. Able to melt bullets and projectiles comint towards
her. She retired after the Rim Wars.
Giant (Sanra Huley) - Able to grow to great heights (up to 30'),
has enhanced strength as she grows. Giant died during the
Rim Wars, victim of sniper fire.
She was killed during the Rim
Wars.
He was
presumed killed during the Rim Wars.
Challenger (Jaiime Conrad) - Olympic-level gymnast, superb
hand-to-hand fighter and marksman.
The Haunt (Unknown) - Hide in shadows, travel in shadows,
dematerialize for short periods. His powers were granted by
equipment. He was killed during the final battle of the Rim Wars.
Fricton (Dash Cobalt) - with the powers of speed,
superconduction, and control over ambient friction - died in the
Rim Wars
Icer (Grag Fynn) - cousin to the Flame, whose cold-based powers
complement her heat-based abilities; - injured during the Rim
Wars and retired
Farad (Kipal Spilis) - a genetic experiment by Research Central;
his genetic structure was totally constructed rather than being
derived from a set of parents. About 50% of his genes are
human, the other 50% are a mixture of alien and animal.
Research Central strived to create him so that his genes will be
passed along to his offspring, and attempted to make the genes
that give him his powers dominant (ie, they are trying to force
his genetic structure to pass his powers to his offspring).
Like the results of many of Research Central's projects, he is
mentally unstable. He retired after the Rim Wars and spent
a good portion of the rest of his life in Research Central
custody, undergoing experiments to improve his mental stability.
He has the ability to store and release electricity and when he
has a strong charge he can also fly.
Steadfast (Antol Osk) - great strength, dedication and reliability
Hunter (Mance Baron) - skilled with every variety of
muscle-powered weapon, mostly uses a cross-bow and a variety of
arrows with different gimmicks.
Stiletto (Sunrise Gale) - Hunter's partner, with similar
skills. Denizen (unknown) - able to live underwater, swim at high
speeds, full exent of powers currently unrevealed

The New Justice Machine
(approximately 1965 to 1984, ie 'the present')
Dynamor (Alynya Tangrora) can absorb energy from weapon fire and
then convert that energy into super strength and enhanced
resistance to damage and injury. The initial energy blast is very
painful, but she grows more immune to pain as she absorbs more
power. She carries a device which can provide her with a jolt of
energy in preparation for upcoming battles. Retires in
1979.
Challenger (Jaiime Conrad) - Olympic-level gymnast, superb
hand-to-hand fighter and marksman.
Diviner (Tessei Molleng Conrad)
Demon (abel Nevin)
Talisman (Unknown)
Blazer Mitrian Fynn
Titan Gemin Osk
Maxinor (Coqurl Maxinor)
