History

Fred Freeman married his long-time girlfriend Mary Batson in 1993, and their daughter Wendi was born in 1995 - on Bill's birthday. Her best friend, Cissy Batson was born on the same day at the same time. Wendi and Cissy are twins in many things - they have the same face, and the same vital measurements, although Wendi is 8 inches shorter. Wendi is a flirt and something of a free spirit. Wendi received access to the Power of Shazam, and she uses this power to become Pixie. If she is holding hands with Cissy and they say the magic word together, they are merged into Cindi Thunder, code name Thundress. Wendi and Cissy can read each other's minds, in addition to their other powers. Wendi is a country and western singer, specializing in hot love songs. There is always a posse of groupies, both male and female, hanging out with her.

Powers

Wendi inherited some of the Power of Shazam from her parents, Captain Lightning and Mary Marvel. Wendy's powers derive from the same Elders as Cap and Mary Marvel, but she displays other powers than Cap or Mary. When she says the magic word, Shazam, she receives the power of flight (from Selene), stamina (from Atlas) and invulnerability (from Achilles). Note that Achilles was vulnerable in his left heel, as is Pixie. She has been trained in the user of her powers by the other members of the Marvel family since she was very young. Additionally, Wendi is mystically linked with Wendi Freeman - whenever Cissy uses the magic word, Cissy knows it. Wendi can communicate mentally with Cissy when she wants to. When Wendi joins hands with Cissy Batson and they say the magic word together, they are joined to become Thundress, who has the standard Marvel Family powers.
